The company’s current status has formed over more than a century, frequently being influenced by events that changed Poznań and the entire country. Throughout its history H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych has been a place of work for several generations of Poznań’s citizens and newcomers.
The first “Cegielski”-branded rail cars were manufactured in 1921. Production of steam locomotives began in 1926.
