From the production hall to every home in Greater Poland! To celebrate Railway Worker's Day, Radio Poznań's mobile studio visited our facility and broadcast two live programs: "Dzień Dobry Wielkopolsko" and "Mała Czarna."
This unique event was an opportunity to celebrate the work of railway workers and our employees, as well as to show what everyday life is like in one of the most important rolling stock factories in Poland.
Morning with "Good Morning Greater Poland"
The program was hosted by Ania Skoczek and Franciszek Walerych, and the conversations covered both the history and the future of our company.
Mariusz Grolik, Production Director, discussed the number of employees currently working at FPS, the modern machinery installed at the plant, and the number of railcars produced each month. He emphasized that our people are true enthusiasts.
Sales Director Jarosław Nowak discussed the significance of the largest contract in the company's history – the construction of 300 railcars for PKP Intercity. The conversation also touched on the modernization of COMBO railcars and the distinctive features of our latest projects.
"Little Black" on vision and innovation
The second broadcast, hosted by Ania Jaworska and Sławek Bajew, was an opportunity to talk about strategy and innovation: Jerzy Woliński, President of FPS, presented a vision of the company's development in the coming years.
Michał Wagner, Technical Director, explained what the modern Electric Multiple Units (EMUs) that we will deliver to the Lubusz and Lublin Voivodeships are, and what distinguishes our solutions from the market.
Finally, the Communication and Promotion Manager, Joanna Małecka, talked about the heritage of the Poznań factory, the importance of Railway Worker's Day and how we want to strengthen our position in the awareness of the people of Greater Poland.
Thank you to Radio Poznań for celebrating Railway Worker's Day with us!
