Today, our company hosted a delegation of MPs from the Parliamentary Infrastructure Committee. The visit provided an opportunity to present the company's activities, ongoing projects, and discuss the future of Polish rail transport.
The meeting was attended by MPs Mirosław Suchoń (Chairman of the committee), Zbigniew Ziejewski, Ewa Schädler, Barbara Oliwiecka, Krystyna Sibińska and Bartosz Zawieja.
Presentation of key projects and contracts
Our guests were welcomed by the Chairman of the Management Board, Jerzy Woliński. Jarosław Nowak, Wagon Sales Director, then gave a presentation on the company's operations and answered questions from members of Parliament. During his presentation, he outlined key projects underway at the factory, including:
- modernization of Combo and Z1B wagons,
- implementation of the largest contract in history with PKP Intercity for 300 passenger carriages in seven different configurations – including a family zone and day-night carriages.
The next part of the presentation was led by Łukasz Szaranek, Traction Vehicle Sales Director, who discussed contracts for the supply of EZTs – Electric Multiple Units for the Lubuskie and Lublin Voivodeships.
Visiting the production plant
After the presentation, the members of parliament proceeded to the production hall, where they were guided by Mariusz Grolik, Production Director. They had the opportunity to see the processes carried out at the factory and to see the interior of the newly modernized Z1B railcar, which was handed over to the customer the same day.
A tribute to history
At the end of the visit, the delegation, together with President Jerzy Woliński, laid flowers at the monument commemorating the workers' uprising against the communist authorities in June 1956 – an event deeply embedded in the history of the plant.
