H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych (Rail Vehicle Factory) has completed a contract for P5 repairs of 26 Z1B-10 railcars for PKP Intercity. All vehicles were delivered ahead of schedule, providing passengers with even greater travel comfort.

Comfort and modern equipment
The modernized Z1B-10 carriages are designed for speeds of up to 200 km/h. Each compartment features ergonomic seats, 230V and USB sockets, individual lighting, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and automatic doors. Additional soundproofing ensures a quiet and comfortable journey.
FPS is also responsible for periodic P3 repairs 18 months after the wagons enter service, ensuring their reliability and safety.
Tests in the presence of the media and parliamentarians
Before the cars arrived at PKP Intercity, they were presented at special events. Radio Poznań journalists tested their comfort during broadcast on the occasion of Railwayman's Day, Members of the Infrastructure Committee visited the factoryto see the effects of modernization with your own eyes.
26 carriages – almost 700 meters of comfort
The total length of the 26 wagons delivered is almost 700 meters. This is almost as long as the distance from "Zamek" Cultural Center to the iconic cafe Kitten at Święty Marcin Street in Poznań – a symbolic distance showing the scale of the project.
