- Light railbus for regional traffic.
PROJECT 1 – COMPLETED
The project concerns a weight-optimized, lightweight, two-unit railbus with a combustion engine. The aim of the project is to achieve a significant reduction in the implementation and operating costs of the discussed vehicle. The most important advantages of the railbus will include: an economical, new-generation combustion engine with low fuel consumption and high reliability, as well as optional air conditioning in the passenger compartment and in the driver's cabins, vehicle interior monitoring, cruise control and a toilet cabin adapted for disabled people with a vacuum toilet and a sealed waste tank. The vehicle will be designed for use on routes with low traffic intensity and a lower infrastructure standard.

The project is being implemented in a scientific-industrial consortium. The project leader is the Rail Vehicles Institute "TABOR".
